FOURTH OF JULY MIDNIGHT PARADE - 12:01AM ON JULY 4TH

One of the main events in Gatlinburg is the Fourth of July Midnight Parade, when Gatlinburg becomes the first city in the nation to celebrate July Fourth each year. This parade is held on July 3rd (technically 12:01am on July 4th), and is a unique way to kick off the holiday celebrations. The parade features floats, marching bands, and other performers, all lit up with colorful lights to create a stunning display. Thousands of people come out to watch the parade each year, making it a fun and lively event.

RIVER RAFT REGATTA - 11AM - 2PM ON JULY 4TH

Another popular event in Gatlinburg is the River Raft Regatta. This is a race of homemade rafts down the Little Pigeon River, and is a fun activity for families to participate in. Participants create their own rafts out of any materials they choose, and race down the river to see who will come out on top. The event also features food vendors, music, and other family-friendly activities.

GATLINBURG FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS - 11PM ON JULY 4TH

Of course, no Fourth of July celebration is complete without fireworks, and Gatlinburg certainly delivers in this department. The city hosts a spectacular fireworks display each year, lighting up the sky with colorful bursts of light and sound. The fireworks show is visible from many locations throughout Gatlinburg, including the downtown area and the surrounding hills.

PIGEON FORGE PATRIOT FESTIVAL & FIREWORKS

The Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival is an annual event celebrating American patriotism and honoring the country's veterans. Held in Patriot Park, the festival typically takes place over the Fourth of July weekend and features a variety of activities for all ages. One of the highlights of the event is the live music performances by popular artists, including country and rock bands. Additionally, attendees can enjoy food vendors, carnival rides, and games.
