What a Wonderful World

We stayed at What a Wonderful World in October. We’d never been to Tennessee before, and my adult kids are naturalists who spent most of their time birding, looking for salamanders in the woods, and enjoying the outdoors. We did go to Dollywood which was a treat! Upon arrival, we did not realize how close to town this property was. Absolutely the most convenient you can get. From the outside, the house doesn’t really look like much. However, once you open the door, you are immediately greeted with the smell of fresh wood. It is open and airy, yet super cosy. There is not a mark, blemish, stain, or any indication that anyone has ever even lived or stayed in this home. The views are unbeatable. Working Fireplaces in every room. This property, down to every last detail, is absolutely stunning. I cannot get over the thought that was put into the seasonal decor, the bedding, the extras in the kitchen. You need nothing. They give you soap, sponges, paper towels, toilet paper, toiletries, dish soap, washing machine soap, and dryer, sheets, salt, and pepper, utensils, toaster, coffee pods… We did not utilize the movie theater room, or the third floor games, but what a nice addition! And honestly, one of the best things about this rental is the hosts. They are super communicative. So nice, anything you need they say to simply ask. They are very responsive, and give you clear check-in and check out instructions. I was not instructed to clean except for putting the dishes in the dishwasher and tossing trash. They asked us to just pretty much leave everything as is, which is so appreciated. Our stay was beyond expectations and We will definitely be back!

We just returned from a week long stay in this beautiful cabin! This cabin is new and just joined the Mountain Laurel Chalet family. It was perfect for our get away with lots of space to relax and enjoy after exploring the mountains. It is conveniently located to the parkway in Pigeon Forge and offered beautiful views including perfect sunrises in the morning. It was easy to explore Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove and even go over the mountain to Cherokee from this location. If you prefer staying in Pigeon Forge, this is the perfect cabin. Thanks Mountain Laurel Chalets!
