Susie's Cottage

We LOVED this house. Honestly it was the best part of our trip. So homey, updated, and very clean. The open layout was amazing and there was plenty of room to hang out and for everyone to be comfortable. Loved the pool! We have little kids and I was happy to see there is an alarm on the doors out to the pool deck. The view was beautiful. The photos don’t do the view justice. We also loved being right on the arts and crafts loop. Amazing location away from the crowds and the most wonderful place to retreat to. The team at Mountain Laurel Chalets was also very quick to respond if we had questions. Amazing space and service. Highly recommend!

This place was amazing. Would def stay again if we were in the area. I would def choose the same cabin as it was perfect for my family and who doesn't want their own private pool. Not sure any of their other cabins offer that. Customer service was excellent. They even got us a Kurig when I asked if it had one. Impressive.

This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had in all our years of coming to Gatlinburg. The cabin was laid out perfectly for our family of four. The pool and hot tub were great after a long day of hiking and going to Dollywood. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting to be in a quiet location, but still within 15 minutes or so from downtown Gatlinburg.

This was our family's first trip to the Smoky Mountains, and Susie's Cottage did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home instead of a rental. The view was amazing, the rental was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for our family. There was more than enough room for our family of five, and our kids (ages 5, 10, and 13) had an absolute blast in the pool and hot tub. The location was perfect. Peaceful and tucked away from the crowds, but still just a short 15–25 min drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville. We noticed a few wasps around the pool area, which is to be expected in the mountains. We reached out to Mountain Chalets, and they responded within minutes and had someone there to spray within an hour. We really appreciated how quickly they handled it and their outstanding customer service. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay and would 100% book again. Highly recommend, don't pass this one up!

BOOK THIS HOUSE! Nestled in the quiet arts community outside of Gatlinburg, this house is a perfect mix of proximity to downtown activities and the beauty of the Smokey Mountains. We visited in late March with our two kids and were blown away with the property. The house is brand new with lovely furnishings, comfortable beds, a well-appointed kitchen (we cooked most of our meals at the house), and the game room (pool and board games). Best of all is the gorgeous back deck with a view of the mountains, heated pool, and hot tub! We had planned on doing more activities in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge but found that we just wanted to spend more time at the house so stayed in for relaxing afternoons at the pool and evenings grilling dinner and having s’mores over the firepit. Two notes: * There is a very vigilant alarm system for the pool - both on the doors to the deck and the pool itself. This was a bit annoying for us but would have been a great relief if I had been visiting with smaller kids

As the first guests to stay in this newly renovated property, our multigenerational family trip was ideal. The pool table, hot tub, fireplace, and kitchen were the highlights of our stay. They decorated each room for the holidays, which was a pleasant surprise. We informed them of a few issues at our departure, which I am sure they will address.
