This property sits on 8 private acres that was purchased directly from the family of famed Gatlinburg pioneer, Wiley Oakley. No need to drive to the National Park—simply step outside and access private hiking trails that connect directly to Cove Mountain Trail (with access to Cataract Falls), the visitor center, Gatlinburg Trail, and, for the adventurous, even Laurel Falls Trail. Enjoy the Smokies right from your doorstep.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by a tranquil sense of privacy. The private drive, less than a mile from downtown Gatlinburg, winds you through the acreage with opportunities for private hiking and exploring.. The flat, paved parking area provides generous space for multiple vehicles, ensuring easy unloading. A park-style grill is available for outdoor cooking—just remember to bring charcoal for your barbeque enthusiast. Ascend four steps to the expansive, covered front porch, which gracefully wraps around the entire main level.

Inside, a spacious open-concept living area awaits, featuring soaring ceilings and rich wood accents. Comfortable seating surrounds a striking stone gas fireplace (operational from Oct. 1 through Feb. 28) and a flatscreen TV. Whether you’re curling up with a novel, hosting a movie night, or catching the big game, you’ll find comfort and style at every turn.

Adjacent to the living area, the dining and kitchen space invites shared meals and lively game nights. The dining table seats six, with a breakfast bar accommodating two more. Large windows frame lush woodland views, creating a picturesque backdrop. The fully-equipped kitchen showcases marble countertops, modern slate appliances, a double sink, and ample cookware and utensils, making dining at home effortless. Early risers will appreciate the traditional coffee maker.

Just around the corner, a king bedroom suite offers a plush bed, dresser, and flat-screen TV. The ensuite bathroom is both spacious and refined, featuring a copper soaking tub and a walk-in shower.

Step outside onto the main level’s wraparound deck, where you’ll find outdoor seating, a dining table, and classic rocking chairs—the ideal spot to unwind and soak in the serene mountain landscape.

Upstairs, a cozy loft with a sitting area provides a quiet nook for reading or private conversation. Two additional bedrooms are located on this level—one with a queen bed and another with two twin beds. Each room includes a chest of drawers and a flat-screen TV for added convenience.

On the lower level, a king bedroom with a dresser and flat-screen TV offers further comfort. This floor also features a bonus recreation room equipped with two sofas, a TV (with DVD/Blu-ray player), a pool table, and a barrel-style arcade game, ensuring entertainment for all ages.

Step outside through the lower level’s exterior door to discover a bubbling hot tub, perfect for unwinding beneath the Smoky Mountain sky.
