Description Description

Lirio Loft is a Scandinavian-inspired alpine retreat in Gatlinburg's Chalet Village — where eco-conscious design meets genuine luxury. Bamboo floors, superior insulation, and independent climate control reflect a home built to tread lightly. A chef's kitchen, two king ensuite suites, and a wood-burning fireplace complete the experience. The Smokies, reimagined. Dolly approved with nods to the iconic star as well as several vintage Dolly albums for your enjoyment on the turn table.

From the fresh-landscaped entry to the soaring lofted ceilings and abundant oversized windows, every detail here was chosen with intention. Bamboo floors run throughout. The palette is creamy, minimal, and calm. And outside, a 24x45 ft deck with a silo propane fire pit and views into a private rock garden makes this one of the most complete outdoor living experiences in the Smokies.
Lirio Loft is also one of the most energy-efficient homes in our program. Superior insulation, high-performance windows, independent climate control on each level, and eco-conscious systems throughout mean the home stays remarkably comfortable year-round — and treads lightly on the mountain it calls home.

THE KITCHEN
Cooks will feel right at home. The kitchen is anchored by a quartz waterfall island with four leather bar stools — the kind of spot where morning coffee turns into a long conversation. A five-burner gas stove with a pot filler, a Bertazzoni dishwasher, and a Fisher & Paykel bottom-freezer refrigerator with custom wood facing give the space a distinctly European feel. Under-counter lighting and floating shelves complete the look.
For coffee and tea, you’re well covered: a Nespresso machine, a French press, a hot water kettle, a Cuisinart hot water maker, and a full set of custom mugs. A Cuisinart waffle maker, mini food processor, juicer, griddle, KitchenAid cookware, cast iron, and a curated collection of cookbooks mean you have everything you need for a full week of home cooking. The silverware even carries the Scandinavian thread running through the whole home.

THE LIVING ROOM
The living room is the heart of the home — and it earns that title. Sixteen massive windows wrap the space, flooding it with natural light and framing the surrounding forest at every angle. A wood-burning fireplace anchors one wall, with a collection of vintage Dolly Parton albums, a working LP turntable, and a Fender guitar adding warmth and personality. A large LG TV with a Sonos soundbar handles movie nights, and a dedicated beverage fridge nearby keeps drinks cold and within reach. Electric privacy blinds are available, though the home’s natural seclusion means you’ll rarely feel the need.
Two screened sliding glass doors open onto the main deck, letting the mountain air in while keeping the bugs out — one of those small details that makes a real difference on a warm evening. Tucked beneath the stairs, just past the media area, a convenient powder room means guests never have to go far.

MAIN LEVEL — PRIMARY BEDROOM & BATH
The main-level primary suite is a sanctuary. A floating king-size platform bed with a Tempur-Pedic-style mattress sits before a wall of nearly floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the private rock garden and Japanese maple plantings. USB and USB-C charging ports are built into the side tables, and custom sconce lighting lets each guest set their own reading mood.
The open ensuite bath continues the European aesthetic: a large soaker tub with an unobstructed garden view, a walk-in shower with both a wall-mount head and a hand wand, Swiss Madison toilets, dual vanity sinks with waterfall granite, and an LED mirror with adjacent medicine cabinet and built-in charging port. A screened sliding glass door connects the bedroom to the outdoors. Built-in cabinetry with push-open doors provides ample storage without disrupting the clean, minimal lines of the space.

THE DECK & OUTDOOR LIVING
Step outside and the home’s outdoor spaces are just as considered as the interior. The main deck stretches 24 by 45 feet — genuinely one of the finest outdoor living spaces you’ll find in the Smokies. A full seating area, picnic table, side tables, and an area rug make it a natural gathering spot day or night.
The deck’s standout feature is the silo propane fire pit, which delivers instant warmth and ambiance at the flip of a switch — perfect for cool mountain evenings without any prep work, gathered under the trees with the whole group.
Below the deck, the backyard is firewise and beautifully maintained with mulch, rock garden landscaping, indigenous ferns, two Japanese maples, and other native plantings — a quiet, private green space that draws the local wildlife and changes beautifully through the seasons.

THE LOFT — SECOND BEDROOM & BATH
Floating solid wood stairs lead up to the lofted level, where a casual lounge area — a comfortable loveseat, coffee table, and layered vintage-style rugs — invites guests to settle in. A barn door off the lounge reveals one of Lirio Loft’s most unique features: a private interior hallway that, when the door is closed, transforms the entire upstairs level into a self-contained suite.
Behind the barn door, a private hallway leads guests past a built-in games closet — stocked with a generous selection of board games including Ticket to Ride, Rummy Cube, Code Names, Phase 10, Skip-Bo, and Uno — and a quiet reading and work nook with a window overlooking the rock garden, perfect for a Zoom call or a good book. At the end of the hallway, a hidden sliding pocket door opens into the king bedroom: a true private retreat with a Tempur-Pedic-style mattress, a Samsung portrait-frame TV (stunning as artwork when not in use), and a private door to the upper deck, where two hanging chairs overlook the garden and main deck below.
The full bath is tucked into this same private hallway, just as refined as the main level: a walk-in shower with dual-control hand wand, Swiss Madison fixtures, and European tile finishes throughout. Close the barn door, and the bedroom, bath, games closet, and reading nook all become one self-contained suite — ideal for a second couple or family members who want their own private wing of the home.

THE DETAILS THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE
Lirio Loft has been designed with the kind of attention to detail that you feel before you can quite articulate it. Solid-core doors with lever hardware. Custom dimmable lighting in every room. Automatic window shades. A Navien on-demand hot water heater for the home. Separate HVAC controls for each level. The laundry room on the main level includes an LG washer and sensor-dry dryer, a vacuum, and an ironing board. A Tesla EV charger on-site means electric vehicle drivers can arrive, plug in, and wake up fully charged every morning.
From the nine-foot ceilings on the main level to the three-panel floor-to-ceiling windows in the primary bath, this is a home where thoughtfulness shows up everywhere.
