Our group of 10 adults and a baby came to stay and LOVED it! The beds were very comfortable, all the couples loved having their own bathroom, and we had everything we needed. Any time we messaged the host, they got back to us in a timely manner. The pictures don't do it justice, it is a beautiful home! We would definitely stay here again.

High Five was a great base for a Smoky Mountain getaway with our grown kids. The house was bright and welcoming and the beds slept so well! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a long hike, and hanging out at the pool table on recovery days. We are a family that enjoys cooking meals together, and the kitchen was the best equipped that we've ever seen. We were surprised, though, to discover that we needed to make a grocery run for salt and pepper, coffee, tea--things that most hosts provide. Three dishwasher pods were not enough for a group of 8 staying 6 nights. The kitchen and laundry appliances were all in good working condition. We would stay there again.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The house was perfect for our group — every one of the 5 king-size bedrooms had its own private bathroom, which made it so convenient and comfortable for everyone. The place was super spacious, giving us plenty of room to spread out and relax without ever feeling crowded. One of our favorite features was the pool table — it provided hours of fun and made the stay feel extra special. The home was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed. Overall, this rental exceeded expectations and was the perfect place for our trip. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

High Five in Mountain Laurel Chalet's was beautiful. Just as described. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view of the mountains was breath taking. The 5 bedrooms, and bathrooms worked out great with 10 people. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool. Playing games on the deck or sitting around the kitchen island was so much fun. It would definitely be a place we would come back again!

I was able to get this cabin for my bachelor party with 8 guys. It served as the perfect home base for an excellent weekend in Gatlinburg! Waking up to the mountain views was truly unmatched, and everything inside was in impeccable condition. I really appreciated how comfortable the king beds were, as it helped us get a great night's sleep after each day out in the mountains!

High Five is the perfect spot to get away from it all. The views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were wonderful - you could see Mt Le Conte out the back windows and on all three balconies. So many trails around and right in the middle of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park! And even the Appalachian Trail is less than 20 miles away. We created great dinners in the fully equipped kitchen. Also had great meals in Gatlinburg too. The hot tub was super relaxing after a day's hike. The beds are king-sized and comfortable. There are tons of activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but we mostly just relaxed and had fun at the cabin. Super clean and comfy.

When you find the perfect spot for you and your family you just keep returning to it. This large home feels so comfy to us. There are so many things to love. I’ll try to mention those we cherish. It’s a great place for a large group gathering. The large kitchen is easy to cook in because it’s well supplied and has ample room to sit and eat together. There are several levels that offer quiet spots for those who want it like the work space upstairs or are big enough for group gatherings like the wide porches, the jacuzzi tub and the pool table play area. There is also a family room with comfortable couches that make for a nice napping area. It is always spotless and fresh feeling. The mattresses and linens are very comfortable. We love the bath products they supply. Our kids delight in watching wildlife pass by as they view them from the porches. I love relaxing on the porches looking at the superb view of Mt LeConte. You see it with mist, with the golden sun and glowing at night. It’s really such a beautiful view. The laundry room is large enough to accommodate the daily dirty hiking clothes pile. Washer and dryers large and easy to use. There is even an ironing board if you’re into wrinkle free adventure clothing, haha, kidding. It’s an easy place to get to and there is ample parking. It’s located in an area with other houses so feels safe but also private. We’ve been here with three generations of our family and they all love it. You won’t regret choosing High Five, it’s just awesome.

This was our second year staying here, it’s perfect everyone has own bathroom and we seen three sets of moma and cub bears every day right in front of our cars and next door. Only downside would be the main bedroom can hear everything in the living room and kitchen, so that room is not very private. The location is just perfect, no traffic and easy access to Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg.

I need to apologize we had 3 chalets Shelet De Dawn 2 was was High Five the upstairs air went out our last 2days, and boy was it hot.The air couldn’t be fixed before we left.We could have used some comfortable furniture in the pool table room to enjoy the large screen tv.

We had a great stay at High Five. The view off the back deck is beautiful! The pictures of the interior are true to actual. If you enjoy grilling note that the picture on the website is dated as it has been replaced with a very large gas grill that easily fit our needs for a group of 6. We even had a few different bear sightings to help make our stay complete. This is the first time we have rented from Mountain Laurel Chalets and we will be a repeat guest the next time we visit the area. Great experience from beginning to end!

We have stayed with Mountain Laurel Chalets for the last 22 years. This trip we decided to take some extended family with us. This home was absolutely perfect for that! The parking is flat and nice for older visitors and those that may have some hard time with inclines. There is a bedroom suite on the main level, which also was great for our older visitors with some issues with steps. Two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms on the lower level were ideal for privacy for everyone. The kitchen was large and stocked full of cookware, storage containers, etc. The decks were great and held stunning views. There is construction going on nearby, but that is pretty much everywhere on the mountain at this point. It was not very disrupting, but we are fairly early risers. This cabin was a great choice for our party of 7, and would accommodate up to 10 comfortably. We would definitely recommend this to others!

We had an awesome family Christmas vacation. High Five is one of the best chalets we have ever stayed in, and we have been renting from Mountain Laurel for almost 30 years. Excellent service and friendly helpful staff. I can't say enough good things about Mountain Laurel. The only downside to this chalet is that it is a bit tricky getting to it, but once there it is awesome.

What a beautiful cabin with a breathtaking view. The size of the cabin is huge and easily accommodates five couples. The public spaces are very spacious and the kitchen island is HUGE and can easily fit all guests. It is built on the side of the mountain so the decks on the back and the hot tub have a great view. I will stay at High Five again.

Our family loved the Chalet, it was perfect for all of us plenty of room on the decks for gatherings. The chalet was clean and location was perfect. Only thought for a 5 bedroom and 5.5 bath is to have extra garbage bags and pick up daily, other than that we are very happy with our stay.

The property was in excellent shape and we found it to be better than it portrayed on the web site. It was clean and well equipped. The beds were excellent. Private baths for each room were perfect. House has water heaters and heat/air units for each floor. The decks and view were excellent. We spent lots of family time on them. Service from the manager easily met all requirements. We enjoyed hiking, trail riding and several activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. This was one of the top rental units that we have experienced over many units and many years. Enjoyed the black bears, including cubs, that wandered safely around the home. Saw 14 uniquely different bears from the house, and then saw some more than once.

The house was well supplied with pots, pans, etc., but surprisingly short of basic supplies for cooking that you would not think to bring. Nice view with easy parking for five. The drive to the house is crazy with many blind corners and steep drop offs.

What a lovely, well stocked home. The 10 of us enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend High Five. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, plates, glasses and paper products. The grill was a hit, and the two patio tables were perfect for breakfast and dinner every day. We sat around the counter to play games and to be together during meal prep. The pool table was so much fun! We had beautiful mountain views, and got to see bears almost every day. We would definitely stay again!

We loved the chalet and the views! Our group of 10 had an amazing time. The fact that each couple had their own room and private bath was great. We had a few issues at the chalet, but the management company was prompt to address them and rectify the situation. Everyone is still talking the great time we had, and the neighbors were so friendly. I would definitely recommend this chalet and consider another stay.

We stayed over Christmas and this house was amazing! Very spacious and clean! The view was beautiful. We got snowed in on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. From what we could see many people were stuck and couldn’t get up the icy roads. But the pool table, hot tub, and movies provided enough entertainment to keep everyone busy!

We enjoyed spending our time in Gatlinburg at this cabin. Every bedroom has its own bath. Large kitchen. View was fabulous. Nice deck with gas grill and large tables for eating outdoor. We had 8 people for our stay and had plenty of room.

Please accept my apology on the trash situation. There is no regular trash service on the mountain, so our housekeepers carry it off when they clean. But with a week long stay, you probably did need an extra pick up and we missed that. Please never hesitate to let the office know when you need assistance with anything at the house, we are always happy to help. Years ago when TV's required cable boxes to get digital channels, we went through the same thing as now with the Smart TV's. It will take some getting used to, but I guarantee you can figure it out. In the meanwhile, please don't hesitate to ask for help from our staff. We have maintenance people on hand during the day to take care of things like this. The decks are absolutely fabulous! We agree that the decks with that fantastic view are the perfect place to kick back and enjoy the view and the company of your friends and family. The orignial High Five was lost to the wildfire of 2016 and the owner has lovingly built back better than ever! We hope you are able to stay with us again at High Five soon.

We were hesitant incoming due to covid 19 however, I'm glad we did. This house was beautiful, the views were spectacular, the location perfect. This house sits atop a windy, windy road. It is in between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg which was perfect. Highly, highly recommend!

Spent a week with family enjoying the views and bear sightings from this gorgeous rental. A great getaway close enough to the action of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but far enough away to be able to relax and enjoy nature and fantastic views.

High Five was very inviting and homey. Bedrooms were roomy and beds were comfortable. The living room was great but not big enough for 10 people to sit together comfortably nor was the game room. The tubs need the drains cleaned out they were full of hair. Decks were great and so was parking.Overall was a great chalet.

The property description and photos were spot on. Our group consisted of 8 adults, but we chose this house even though there was 1 extra bedroom because price, home layout, view, amenities, location are all key elements that I demand when choosing a rental. Nothing in the kitchen was lacking for us to prepare our breakfast and dinner feasts; something we really look forward to. After our day long riding excursions (bikers), it was great to unwind on the decks, play games on the huge kitchen table, or play pool. No complaints about the showers and the beds were magnificent. Since our stay was early August, it wasn't unusual to incur insect bites on the deck, so we'll just bring bug spray next time. Our guys expectations of the pool table weren't quite met, but they are serious players. Regardless of that, we wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again. Many fabulous memories were created on this trip that will never be forgotten. No need to call the office for assistance of any kind. I definitely recommend this house.

Our vacation to the Smoky Mountains and stay in the High Five chalet was very nice. Our trip had to be modified and our entire originally planned group was unable to go on the trip due to a death in the family. Because of that less than half of our group was able to go and the rest of us returned home a day earlier than originally planned.

The chalet was nice and new though with great amenities. It was comfortable and cozy and convenient to the area. It was certainly tucked up on a little mountain area with some winding roads but overall not too bad considering the mountain terrain. The commons area were not too big so it was certainly made for just the 10 people that would fit in the bedrooms.

The only negative for the chalet was that the floors did not appear to be well cleaned for our stay and a few used wash clothes had been left.

I would still recommend this property and renting through Mountain Laurel.

Ron, Thank you for your comments. Our homes are all situated for 2 people per bedroom so please know that we do not stack our homes beyond that capacity. It helps protect wear and tear and allow for a comfortable guest experience. I am sorry to hear that the floors were not as clean as you expected and that the cleaners left behind some wash cloths. We will look into that immediately and remind our cleaners to take all linens and cleaning towels with them. With the larger homes, this is an oversite which is understandable but one we will address none the less. The new floors are remarkable as well as the whole home so we will be sure to address these concerns moving forward. We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We also extend our sadness to you in the untimely death that prevented your whole group from enjoying your time in Gatlinburg.

We needed a cabin to accommodate 5 couples and still have room to socialize for our Gatlinburg destination wedding. The High 5 was perfect. Everyone was impressed with the amenities, accomednations and decor. The easy check in and check out made our already stress filled weekend a little bit easier. We will definitely book again as we plan on making this trip a regular occurance.
