Bears Down Under

This was a new family Christmas Tradition for us. And we wanted to get away for a while but knew we would enjoy ourselves. Booking this Airbnb was so worth it. From the location in Gatlinburg, to the responsive host, the recommendations and just the peaceful surroundings made it worth the stay. Fun fact is this Airbnb wasn’t far from the one we’ve stayed at before 5 years ago. We would book this Airbnb again for sure.

Very cute and clean! I would be nervous driving up the windy roads in the winter. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

The condo was very comfortable and relaxing for us. We were able to sit and rest in comfortable modern accommodations. Cook some meals in full kitchen and had good WiFi access. Would recommend it to everyone wanting to be near Gatlinburg but still have privacy. Was easy to get there and access the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Looking forward to our next trip!

It was our wedding anniversary April 19th and we wanted to do something different so we headed to the smokies for the first time ever. Mountain Laurel Chalets was referred to me by my sister. We stayed in the Bear Down Under super affordable (better than a hotel). The pictures do not do it justice. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast on the balcony was so peaceful the weather was gorgeous the whole time. It was very accommodating for the privacy we needed. Extremely comfortable and cozy. The drive is pretty steep I will warn you because no one warned me lol. But it got better as we moved around. We loved Pigeon Forge and surrounding areas plenty plenty to do it reminds me of Vegas in the mountains. Or if you want that sweet peace and quiet don't want to people, Bear Down under offered us that quiet seclusion 💛. Make sure you check out a dinner and a show the Pirate Voyage was amazing and with Mountain Laurel you get a free ticket and there's discounts too. The only disappointments I had was I didn't get to see and a bear and we had to leave. My mind and heart will live on the Mountains lol. Definitely going back to the Bear Down under 💛

We really enjoyed our stay at Mountain Laurel Chalets. It was very clean, booking, check-in/check-out were easy! I had a question and the support staff and host were very kind and answered quickly. We would love to come back in the future. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to see bears around the property! It was a great place to stay for a weekend get away!

My husband and I along with friends enjoyed our stay - the process was easy, it was very clean and I felt it was affordable. I would definitely go back in the future. We got to see several bears from the back porch!

My family and I just stayed in a condo that we booked through Mountain Laurel Chalets from December 27th thru January 1st. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was in contact with us from the day of arrival until the day we checked out. The condo was super clean and it had everything we needed for our stay! I highly recommend Mountain Laurel Chalets for a great vacation!

My family and I enjoyed our stay with Mountain Laurel Chalets at Bears Down Under. The property was lovely and had everything we needed! We checked in after-hours and were impressed with how the office handled it! We had no issues whatsoever during the stay. We also made use of the amenities and enjoyed the free ticket to Dollywood! Mountain roads are new to my family, but we grew to love the drive and adored the view. We even saw a few bears around the property! I have recommended Mountain Laurel Chalets to all my friends and family looking to visit the area! I hope to plan a trip this year as well. Easily five stars.

The condo we stayed at “ Bears Down Under “ was an amazing rental. The leasing agents were very friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and we can’t say enough about the whole experience! The condo was extremely clean ( and I am very picky) and very well accommodated. It had everything you would need and more to have and enjoyable “ staycation “ The gift bags in each bathroom were thoughtful and appreciated. But, I have to say the most wonderful amenity was the wood burning fireplace in the living room with the view of Ober Gatlingburg Ski Resort. That was beyond incredible!!! We had a Magical Christmas with our family and will definitely come back!!!

This is our second time to stay. It is quickly becoming our favorite. The condo was very clean, and beautifully decorated. Even though the condo is high on a mountain, it really is not that hard of a drive. Plenty of parking, with easy condo access. We will definitely be back!!!
