Upper Alpine Clubhouse - Three clubhouses available to guests of Sweet One. The Upper Alpine Clubhouse feature two pools, one large and one wade pool with mushroom umbrella. The clubhouse has restrooms and pool tables as well as vending machines. Plenty of lounge and tables and chairs surround the pool.

South Baden Clubhouse - Three clubhouses available to guests of Sweet One. The South Baden clubhouse features a large family pool and kid pool. The pool deck has plenty of lounge chairs and tables for sunbathing and gathering. Handicap lift is available as well as two tennis courts and a playground. Inside the clubhouse are changing rooms and game tables.

With easy access to downtown Gatlinburg as well as Dollywood and Pigeon Forge, this A-Frame is decorated with the mountains in mind and the pine wood with original hardwood floors will give you a feel for mountain living. Enjoy the deck and hot tub with complete privacy as well as a view to match. When driving up to this secluded cabin you will be greeted with a magnificent view of Mt LeConte. Loved how accommodating and cozy the A frame was... perfect fir a getaway of just the two of us fir an Anniversary trip. The hot tub was a great bonus to relax in after a day of adventures and beautiful sights.... The home had everything we needed for our 3 nights stay. Loved the yard and only wish we had a lil more of a Mountain View but we did have a peak a boo spot ! Till next time... thanks for the memories!

This place was super cute & cozy! My family enjoyed the secluded quiet with a scenic ride down the mountain to town. I'd definitely rent the cabin again. Things to know - bring beach towels, make sure your car can get up steep hills, & get groceries @ the one grocery store in town upon arrival. The main downtown can be a traffic jam and getting to the other side of town for food can be a headache. Sidenote, we were comfortable but couldn't figure out if the alarm system box was the temp control box (for those picky ones out there). Good internet & functioning kitchen appliances. This cabin is rustic & filled with basic cookware, etc. This cabin is perfect for a small family with kids who'll share a bed or one sleep on the couch or a couple looking for a special weekend alone.

We needed down time away from work, and didn't want to stay at a motel, so decided to look at Mountain Laurel Chalets. It's not fancy, not overly rustic. We actually slept in the loft area which had a great view of the sunrise and could look out the large window overlooking the other side of the house. Nice galley kitchen. Was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of paper goods, when we really didn't expect it. If you are expecting luxury and super strong shower, this house is not for you. But, if you want a place just for the 2 of you, it's really nice. Nice deck to sit and watch the stars, lights way down below, and just visit with each other. Good parking area. Also, discovered Ski Mountain Pizza on the way up to the house and it's really good. Hope to be back again! Thank you for a restful stay.

Sweet One was charming and comfortable; plus, it was surround by beautiful views. The oven was not working during my trip, and I was not alerted to this, which was a little irritating since I had meal planned around it, but I made due. Other than that, everything was perfect--clean, functioning, fantastic.

Thanks for the review and we regret the oven did not work during your stay. The knobs have been on order since just prior to your stay. An email explaining this disruption was sent to all guests arriving after 3/9 until the middle of April, when we are hoping to receive the parts. We apologize if you did not get the email prior to your visit and for any inconvenience your experienced. We hope you will consider staying with us again the next time you come to the Smokies.

This was exactly what we wanted: a small cabin high in the mountain with a hot tub and beautiful views. It was perfect for our family of 4 (we have 2 boys under 10). Everything was clean and well stocked. Close to attractions, but really felt away from the craziness as well. We would love to come back here again.

We are happy to hear Sweet One was a good fit for your family. The location is perfect for escaping the crowds and noise of downtown, but also very convenient to the Parkway, the National Park Entrance and Pigeon Forge, via the Gatlinburg By-pass. Very Cozy, loved being close to ober gatlinburg, secluded, and has a real fireplace to burn wood. we enjoyed our stay. Only negative was water pressure and no washer or dryer.

Booking the cabin was easy as well as the check in process. The cabin itself was pretty dated and well-worn, and hasn’t been freshened up in several years. The hot tub was nice but only set at 100 degrees, cooling off within minutes, and the chlorine was very strong. Could still smell it after two showers. all in all it was a good stay, just over priced for a cabin of its vintage.

Thanks for the review and we appreciate your feedback. All of our cabins are accurately represented in photos on the website so our guests will know exactly what to expect. Our cabins are priced according to size, amenities, view and furnishings and the price of Sweet One is in ine with comparable chalets on our program. We will take a look at the temperature reading of the hot tub and make sure it maintains 104 degrees. We use bromine as the sanitizer in the hot tubs. It is distributed through a floating filter that stays in the tub, but the floater can be adjusted to lessen the amount of chemical in the water if you feel like it is to much. We hope you will consider giving us another try the next time you visit the Smokies.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Sweet One for our honeymoon and it couldn't have been more perfect! We were looking for a place close to town but also private enough for us to enjoy our vacation together. The view was beautiful and the cabin was so cute! The chalet was just as advertised. Very nice for an older couple or younger couple with a child or 2. I did not know that this would be our last trip to Gatlinburg. I knew that my wife had been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, but we were told she could expect 5 good years. She was weak on August 24th when we left Newberry, but she wanted to go. we got to the Sweet One and I unpacked everything. Went down for snacks and a sub sandwich for supper. We ate when I got back and we got in the hot tub. Next morning we went down to The Pancake Pantry for breakfast. We went back to the chalet to relax. Later on we decided to go to the Texas Roadhouse for supper (it was our anniversary). Wednesday morning my wife wanted to go shoe shopping at Tanger Outlets. We got her some skeckers. Then off to Ben and Jerry's for ice cream. We ended up back at the chalet and enjoyed the hot tub. We had to leave Thursday morning to get by to Newberry. On the 28th of August, I took my wife for immunotherapy. I chain of events happened and I lost my wife on Sept. 3rd. Thank you Mountain Laurel Chalet for always providing nice facilities to stay in. Your business will always be cherished.

Perfect for a couple looking for a getaway.. Only problem was the hot tub was a bit cold and the shower walls were pretty sticky and grimey along with the stone floor.. just wear slippers and don’t touch the shower walls, all easy fixes and nothing that ruined my stay. Highly recommend- I wanted to stay more nights but they were booked!

Mountain Laurel Chalets has been our go to for several years now. We have always been pleased. This cabin, however, did not meet the standards that we have come to expect from MLC. There were missing light bulbs, others blown, a musty smell, especially in the loft area, dust and small trash under pieces of furniture, the hot tub was missing parts, some jets not working and the chemicals were too strong to enjoy, the upstairs bed frame had the extensions for a foot board that stuck out, and due to the compact space I scratched my legs to the point that I decided to stay downstairs, the mattresses were terrible, the bathtub is the original bathtub (could stand to be replaced). The cabin could definitely use a little more updating and personal touch.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was very clean, comfortable bed, and enjoyed the New Year's fireworks from the deck. We wanted a quite, relaxing New Year's and that's exactly what we got. We laid on the sofa and watched lots of tv. The ride up the mountain is challenging --the road need side rails--glad we didn't venture out much.

Cute cabin perfect for 2-4 guests. However, our teenagers thought the bed in the loft was uncomfortable, so keep that in mind for anyone that needs a comfortable mattress. Everything else was nice and as expected. I do wish we were given more than 1 washcloth per person. Exchanging them each day is inconvenient.

We had a great time staying at Sweet One. The cabin was in a great location with just a 10 minute car ride to downtown Gatlinburg. The rental was clean and we lived the porch and hot tub. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

This is the perfect little getaway cabin. Comes with EVERYTHING except food.. Had a momma bear and her 3 cubs show up at our front lawn. We watched thru the door window as 2 of the cubs played and pulled at each other. What a beautiful site. Still was careful when we stepped out to dinner later that day. I highly recommend this place... Oh, and the staff is amazing too!!!!!

The cabin was great - exactly as described. You have to check in and out at the company's home office, which wasn't on our way, but it was only a mile or not too bad.

Our cabin was clean and stocked with plenty of towels and kitchen utensils. When you walk thou out the cabin the floors would creak and pop, this gave character. We used one of the swimming pools that was near by and on the way there we came across a black bear and her four cubs running down the road. This made my wife's trip. The only negative thing was the outdoor grill did not work looking inside it should have been replaced over a year ago. We would rent this cabin again if we visited this area in the future.

Just an overall nice cabin. Not big, not too small, just perfect. Great wrap around deck that was nice to relax on with coffee in the morning. The floor to ceiling window offered a nice view, and the fireplace kept us warm at night. Would reccomend for 2 - 4 people. Will be back someday

This is the perfect place for a relaxing get away. Only minutes from the sights and sounds of gatlinburg strip yet set atop the mountain with nothing to obstruct your view or interrupt your solitude. Best of both. We checked in with the friendly staff for a 3 day stay and left feeling like gilligan's island. 3 years later! Love this cabin.

We had a fabulous weekend and the cabin was great! If you plan to cook, make sure to bring salt, pepper and any other type of spice or sugar, so you don't have to buy everything at the store. This was probably our over site however, we ate out so wasn't a problem. Make sure to lock your vehicle doors, a bear got into our car the last morning. Luckily no damage or mud, the two doors on the driver side were standing open with a little paw print on the side.

This was a spur of the moment thing that turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The views are outstanding and the cabin was very cozy, the bed in the loft was very comfortable. We planned a mini getaway with the kids over spring break the first week of April. We were hoping to stay in Paradise Point I since we've stayed there before but it was already booked. Suite One is cozy and charming and the kids thought the loft was the best! The cabin was rustic chic, but very clean and provided every amenity we needed and more. We made dinner in one night and had plenty of pots, pans and utensils to choose from. The beds were very comfortable too. The weather didn't cooperate as well as we had hoped, but we were able to hike up to Laurel Falls before the rain set in and we walked the Parkway and played a round of HillBilly Golf as well. We only booked 2 nights but it wasn't enough to get in everything we wanted to do so we definitely plan on visiting again soon!

My husband and I brought our 3 and 4 yr olds to stay at Suite One for 2 nights. They had a blast sleeping in the loft, and we all enjoyed the large windows in the family room and fireplace. Last minute trip to enjoy snow in our beloved GSM with picturesque cabin and setting, wonderful views, nice amenities, all within city limits so well maintained roads, professional family friendly staff. Enjoyed our longtime favorite restaurants, Peddler, Howard’s, Crockett’s. Also, this cabin is close to Park entrance and not too far from outlet mall in Pigeon Forge. This was our 3rd trip to Gatlinburg and our second time using Mt. Laurel Chalets. Highly recommend them, customer service is outstanding. Suite One was just as expected. Quite and relaxing. Perfect getaway for my husband and I. Cabin was clean and well-maintained. Mostly had breakfast there then went into Gatlinburg to have a late lunch/early dinner. Just two of us, didn't cook much. One of out favorite restaurants is Best Italian, highly recommend them. I would definitely recommend this cabin and most definitely recommend Mt. Laurel Chalets.

It was very high up the mountain Good location We hiked all day and did the Gatlinburg strip at night We had a problem with the fridge not working and had to throw away a lot of food which we were compensated for but had to take time out of our vacation to buy again which sucked

Very happy with our first experience with Mountain Laurel Chalets. We have stayed with many other companies in the past and Mountain Laurel Chalets is top notch. Suite One was perfect for us, it's location was exactly what we wanted, it's very convenient to gatlinburg, and yes, you're high up, the ciew is great. Many other cabins we've stayed in are crammed right near another cabin - Suite One isn't like this, it sits alone on a finger of the Mountain so it feels more private. We liked our stay so much we're coming back for another stay a month later!

My husband, our 14 month old son, and I stayed at "Suite One" for about a week. It's our second time staying with Mountain Laurel Chalets, and will not be our last. The cabin was PERFECT. Had everything we needed. The house could easily sleep and entertain 4 adults. There is one bedroom and a loft. We actually stayed in the loft with our son's pack 'n play to enjoy the amazing view!!! Every morning was an absolutely stunning sunrise over the mountains. We will definitely be back, especially to this cabin. The amenities were nice. Hot tub, Wifi, large new deck around two sides of the cabin, fire place (made for very cozy evenings), comfortable beds. We always bring our own pillows for our own comfort. Too early in the season to enjoy the pool, but we will definitely next time. Easy drive on paved roads. About 7 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. I wish we didn't have to leave!

We were very happy with our cabin. The only thing we had an issue with was water pressure when getting a shower but on top of mountain its understandable and our hot tub could have been warmer. We were actually shivering in it.

We are glad you enjoyed your time in Suite One. Please notify the office if you need the heat on the hot tub turned up. We have maintenance staff here during office hours every day of the week. Hope to see you back soon.

Cute cabin, we would stay here again. The one thing to keep in mind is the driveway- it's in a turn and it is much steeper than it appears from the pictures. Otherwise, great property. The view was fantastic and the cabin was clean. The hot tub was perfect to relax and view the stars! I recommend getting your own wood for the fire place, the wood provided was too wet to burn. The place is well maintained, great cabin features with wood in-laid ceiling and the stairs. Great atmosphere.

Location is great and the kitchen was very clean too and had everything you need minus a can opener. Loved everything about the chalet minus the bathroom. It needs a lot of work and the shower really needs some better cleaning and work. I will stay here again provided the bathroom is in better condition. Overall, it was a great time and the sauna very clean too!

My fiance and I loved our 3-night stay here! The cabin was clean, quaint, and had a great view. Our only real complaint is that the pots/pans are in need of replacing/upgrading. They are not non-stick (at least not anymore), so cooking was quite the adventure. Overall, though, we were very happy and would stay here again!

Chalet had only 1 TV and it was probably 20 years old. Bathroom left alot to be desired.

Thanks for the will pass along your comments about the bathroom to the owner. Just this week a new 40" flatscreen was installed in the living room and a 32" flatscreen in the downstairs bedroom.

Cabin was nice and in a great location but need televisions in bedrooms. Had some issues with hot tub controls not functioning as they should. Maintenance was very helpful and showed up in a timely manner. Other than that, everything was great. Will definitely consider staying on our next vacation.

Suite I off of Sky View was a wonderful accommodation for us. It was a very quiet and a restful atmosphere. The deck with hot tub was a welcomed treat after long walks, shopping, and site seeing during the day. We were also able to enjoy a great breakfast at the Log Cabin Pancake House. The view from our chalet was tremendous. Very accommodating and friendly staff. We would highly recommend this chalet and would stay there again.

Loved the privacy and decor. Hardwoods were gorgeous and so much like a mountain get away. Bed was comfy and slept very well. Two bedroom options was nice. Huge deck and secluded lot and view. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Like that it is so close to downtown Gatlinburg but seems like miles away with how quiet it was.

Every thing was good but the refrigerator had a ready bad smell they didn't clean it good bottom tray had all the smell under it they didn't take it out to clean that would stop smell it was like that when we got there but we was gone all the time we didn't open it much if we did it would make you sick but we finally look at the problem before leaving and told them at desk when checking out
